Time to play catch up

So, quite a bit has gone on since my last post, bit I figure I can just start from today :) I am officially in Louisiana with Beau and his daughter to hang out with the family. One thing that is hard to adjust to is the humidity, I am staring to think that the sweaty look is back in, well at least I hope it is. I left Santa Barbara on quite a high last Saturday after my beat friend and Beau planned a surprise 30th birthday party for me, and yes I can honestly say that I was beyond surprised and so overwhelmed and happy and grateful..... The list just goes on! What a night! :) I felt so special :) the next morning we were off to Vegas to meet Beau's cousin, Cory, and his wife Melissa. We had a blast! We went and saw carrot top and had a great tome lounging by the lazy river at the MGM, it was awesome! Then we left Vegas at 3 in the morning on tuesday (I guess it's true what they say it's the city that doesn't sleep, but I WANTED to, ha ha ha) we picked up hailey and on the way I was having a minor heart attack that we would miss our flight because if all the traffic. Thankfully we got there early and traveled pretty smoothly minus the plane delay in Dalas due to thunderstorms ;) we got in a couple hours late and
By that point beau and I were ready to collapse from exhaustion! But we made it!!!!!! Today we just hung out with more family and hunted down an I phone repair place, for some reason beau's aunt thought it would be funny to push him on the pool and he had his brand new I phone 4 in his pocket! That is when disaster struck! Now we are waiting until tomorrow to see if the gal can work some magic poor Beau, I just wanted to fix it and I couldn't :( anyways, we have our fingers crossed! Don't worry so far I have not had any limbs ripped off by a crocodile :) but there is always tomorrow....till then!

A few updates

So, I am realizing that it has been over a year since I updated you on my life, and i know I threw a few things out on the last post, but i forgot to mention that one of my best friends got married, and another is engaged. Crazy right? On March 20th of this year, Courtnie Beers became Courtnie Warner-Beers. :0) It was an incredible day, full of fun, laughter, best friends, and memories of a lifetime! I took part as one of the bridesmaids, and was so honored to be a part of thier special day. I am so happy for her and I know she has found an amazing match, Adam. They are/were made for eachother :)

My other friend, Ella, is now engaged to a guy named Roarke. She has never been happier, and I couldn't be happier for her. I will be her maid of honor, and I am very excited to be a part of this next step of her life! Congrats Ella!!!

So far this past week has gone by a little slower than I wanted, mainly because Beau is gone until next thursday, but all I keep telling myself is six more days, I CAN DO IT!!! I can't wait for him to get back home. :) He just makes me smile, I feel pretty darn lucky to have him in my life, and yes, I thank God every day.

Next weekend we are taking a little road trip to San Francisco, and then to Reno for a family reunion of mine....This will be the first time my parents get to meet Beau....and I am excited, nervous, happy...I just know they are going to love him!

I am not sure what this next week will bring, but I will keep you posted as the days go on.

Wow, it has been forever!

So, here I am trying to remember the last time that I posted a blog....It has been far too long. Apparently it has been over a year, so I can definitely say that a lot has happend. And funny thing is Yes, Kori and I have gone back to Costa Rica another two times since the last trip. We ended up going back in December 2009 for about a week and had one of the most amazing trips ever! We have definitely mastered the perfect travel to Montezuma/Malpais area, and if asked nicely will share some great secrets. :)

I have also met the most amazing guy ever, Beau. Yeah, i know, your beau Beau, many people say it and it still brings a smile to my face. He is quite a catch and I thank God daily for bringing him in to my life. He has a 5 year old daughter as well, who I absolutely love to pieces. She has the most amazing personality and i find myself having the best of times with them. They have been the best blessing, and I cherish every minute that I get to spend with them. Beau works two weeks out of town and the other two he is back home. (those are the two weeks I love! the other two I could do without, but it reminds me how much I love him).

We have been very busy lately when he is home. I think we try and cram in as many fun things as we can. We were just talking about how every time he comes home, we leave town.....Poor guy, always on the go.....But, we have been having so much fun! The fair, Seaworld, the beach, swimming, and the list will just continue to go on! I can't wait for that next moment!
